The Worst Thing About Every MCU Film
8. Spider-Man Vs Vulture - Spider-Man: Homecoming
Kevin Feige is aware that Marvel Studios has a reputation for weak villains and he promised to remedy this problem. In 2017, he ensured the antagonists of Spider-Man: Homecoming, GOTG2, and Thor: Ragnarok were thoroughly fleshed out.
Characters like Ego, Hela, and Vulture could've been forgettable baddies - but because we saw their origins and motivations, we were able to see them as real people and understand where they were coming from.
Even though the central adversary of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Vulture, is a scumbag and a murderer, Michael Keaton's performance makes him feel like a flesh-and-blood human being.
Sadly, none of that matters in his final fight with Spider-Man since it's so dark, you can't see what's going on. Watching two CGI characters or stuntmen pounding each other in pitch black was a very disappointing way to conclude an otherwise great Spider-Man film.
