Thor: Ragnarok - 10 Questions None Of The Trailers Have Answered
5. What Became Of Lady Sif And The Warriors Three?
Odin isn't the only notable omission from the Thor: Ragnarok trailers. The thunder god's best buds Lady Sif and the Warriors Three have been largely absent throughout the film's promotional campaign.
Could this be a bad omen for Sif, Fandral, Hogun and Volstagg? It's been confirmed that their fates will be revealed in the movie, but the fact Marvel Studios has downplayed their presence at every turn cannot be a good sign.
Only Hogun has been included in marketing materials and gets so much as a split second in the trailers. He can be glimpsed among a band of soldiers against an Asgardian backdrop, about to do battle with Hela and her minions.
Quick arithmetic will tell you that three quarters of the Warriors quartet are missing in action, and a number of conclusions can be drawn from that.
Naturally, many fans have predicted that the Asgardian foursome will be killed, or at least defeated and imprisoned somewhere when Hela arrives on the scene, which would certainly make Ragnarok the darkest of the three Thor films, as well as establish Cate Blanchett's villain as the greatest threat the thunder god has faced.
Of course, this is merely one of many possible fates for the Warriors. Isn't it just as likely that Loki exiled some of them while he was in charge at Asgard? Maybe they're with Heimdall in the wilderness.
