5. The Soul Stone Is Revealed

The Rumour: The only remaining Infinity Stone unaccounted for ahead of Avengers: Infinity War is the Soul Stone, and so rumour not-so-absurdly suggested that Ragnarok would see it introduced into the MCU, either by way of Heimdall (who has the ability to see all the souls in the Nine Realms) or Odin (who could conceal it in his eyepatch).

The Truth: Again, a pretty nifty idea either way, and it certainly would've made Heimdall or Odin's involvement feel a little more meaningful, but Ragnarok comes and goes without any mention of the sixth Infinity Stone, which will now presumably appear either in Black Panther or at the beginning of Infinity War.
