The Rumour: Another easy-to-believe rumour stated that Ragnarok would include, most likely as a post-credits scene, the first meeting between Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy.

The Infinity War footage screened at D23 and Comic-Con earlier this year showed Thor smashing into the windshield of the Milano, which would've been an hilarious punchline on which to end Ragnarok following the destruction of Asgard.

Plus, it would've kept within the recent MCU tradition of including a scene from a future movie in the credits for the current one.

The Truth: Though Xander is mentioned in one fleeting sentence during the film, the Guardians are sadly nowhere to be seen. At least Infinity War isn't too far away...
