7. Heimdall Dies

The Rumour: Latino Review leaked a rumour last year that Heimdall would be killed off by Hela at the beginning of the movie, only to be resurrected as a member of Hela's dead army for the final showdown at Asgard.

Given how clear it was ahead of release that Idris Elba had a pretty small role in the film, this was easy to believe.

The Truth: Surprisingly, Heimdall isn't killed by Hela nor does he get transformed into a member of her army. He spends most of the movie in hiding and on the run, which is honestly a lot less interesting.

For the little good use Marvel has made of Elba in these films, the rumoured plan probably should've just gone ahead for real.
