6. An Upgrade But Not An Improvement
Optimus Prime is the Rocky Balboa of Transformers, always fighting an upgrade of his previous opponent, and winning every time (too bad his smackdowns arent set to Eye Of The Tiger). He fares better than Bumblebee, though, who seems to be the Autobot equivalent of Gary Oldmans character from True Romance - a white pimp who thinks hes black. Now that Skids and Mudflap have gone to Autobot Heaven, and because Bay doesnt have room for a Funny Black Guy in the Anthony Anderson mould, it falls to Bumblebee to be the franchises fount of urban humour, calling his nemeses homeboy and saying u cant touch this as though MC Hammer was still in vogue. He doesnt stoop to saying boogy boogy boo, though - Bays saving that for the next one.
