Remember that moment earlier in the trailer when it looked like Optimus Prime was dead? SURPRISE! He's not actually dead. A shocking revelation for sure.

What is legitimately confusing, however, is why he wants to kill Bumblebee, grumbling forgive me before totally choke slamming him into the ground. And if that's not enough, he breaks out a dirty great spike to boot, attempting to run it through his old friend while Mark Wahlberg watches on in horror.

It's admittedlyintriguing, and suggests that Prime's interaction with the Creators may have been more significant than a simple ass kicking. Did Prime learn something important? Has he been brainwashed and is no longer on the side of the Autobots? The fact he asks for forgiveness would suggest he still has his own, independent sentience.
