20 Awesome Horror Movie Deaths NOBODY Talks About

Halloween Kills is a big ol' mess of a movie, but at least it largely lives up to the promises of its title, with the absolutely epic body count racked up by Michael Myers (James Jude Courtney).

And while there are certainly bloodier kills in the movie than this, there isn't a single one that proves quite so surprising or, most unexpectedly, absolutely hilarious.

The character of Vanessa (Carmela McNeal) is out bar-hopping on Halloween while dressed as a nurse, and ends up crossing paths with The Shape on that fateful night.

After Myers kills her husband Marcus (Michael Smallwood), Vanessa opens fire on him with a pistol, each of her shots missing.

And when she gets close enough to the car that Michael is inside, Michael kicks the car door, smashing it into Vanessa's hand and causing the gun to swing around to her own face just as it fires.

And so, Vanessa ends up inadvertently shooting herself in the face - a gut-bustingly silly, borderline-parody death scene in an especially dumb Halloween sequel. What's not to love?
