7. Crushed By Lockers - Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II
Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II is a quintessential weirdo slasher sequel that, despite being a critical and commercial failure upon release, has endured as something of a cult fave.
And it certainly serves up one of the most memorably brutal deaths from any slasher film of its era, proving that even something as innocuous as a school locker isn't safe.
After student Monica (Beverley Hendry) rebuffs the sexual advances of her possessed friend Vicki (Wendy Lyon), Vicki stalks her through the locker room, prompting a terrified Monica to hide inside her locker.
But what she didn't count on was Vicki manifesting telekinetic powers, which she then uses to crush the locker inwards while Monica is inside.
After a beat, a whole ton of pink goo starts pouring out of the locker, which we can assume to be Monica's brains.
Say what you will about Prom Night II being a shameless cash-in, given that it wasn't even originally shot as a Prom Night movie, but the filmmakers absolutely cooked with this kill.
