7. Air Bud Returns
In addition to death and taxes, there's apparently one other certainty in life - Air Bud.
Film lovers of a certain age will almost certainly remember this glut of canine-led family comedies which enjoyed a shockingly lucrative run of 14 (!) films between 1997 and 2013.
The series has been on ice for more than a decade, the concept having well and truly run its course, but as ever, what is dead is alive once more.
This August, Cineverse will release Air Bud Returns - the legacy sequel you neither needed nor ever expected to happen, in which a 12-year-old boy (Aydin Artis) finds a VHS copy of the original Air Bud movie and teams up with a stray Golden Retriever to compete for a basketball championship.
So, it's basically just a remake with the mild novelty of taking place in a world where the Air Bud franchise exists. Got it.
