20 Actors About To Give AMAZING Performances In Horror Movies

Though it's apparently set to release before the end of the year, we still don't know a whole lot about The Young People - the new film from the prolific Osgood Perkins (Longlegs, The Monkey).

But we do know that Perkins has assembled his most stacked ensemble cast to date, with the buzziest addition to his new project being the great Nicole Kidman.

The official plot synopsis says that the film follows two school friends (Lola Tung and Nico Parker) who drift apart after one begins exhibiting disturbing behaviour, while a page from the script posted by Perkins makes mention of "the Old Ones," in turn teasing a Lovecraftian element.

This, combined with the film's title, makes it easy to assume that the movie's more senior cast members, such as Kidman, are preying upon the young for their vitality. 

And there's no way that Kidman is being cast in an Oz Perkins film for a nothingburger role, so it's highly probable she's playing a prominent villain. 

Considering Perkins' knack for giving meaty roles to veteran actresses - see: Alicia Witt in Longlegs - this might show Kidman in a light like we've never seen her before.
