17. Neil Patrick Harris - The Last Temptation of Becky
The highly underappreciated Becky franchise has stumbled upon a brilliant formula - cast an actor primarily known for their comedy work wildly against type as a monstrous bigot and have Lulu Wilson's pint-sized title character satisfyingly take them down.
In the first Becky Kevin James played a vile neo-Nazi, while in sequel The Wrath of Becky, Seann William Scott starred as the leader of an alt-right hate group.
Now in threequel The Last Temptation of Becky, How I Met Your Mother's Neil Patrick Harris will play General Wilhelm Reuss, the grandson of a Nazi who sets his sights on establishing a modern-day Nazi organisation called The Fourth Reich.
Granted, Harris did previously portray a Nazi-coded character in Starship Troopers way back when, but after so many years in the unabashed comedy realm, this will be quite an about-turn for him.
Early reviews from the film's recent premiere have praised Harris' menacing, over-the-top performance in the role, and so now we're simply left wondering who will follow Harris' lead for the hopefully inevitable Becky 4.
