Venom 2: 10 Things We Want To See
5. More Intel On The Symbiotes
So the first film kind of yada-yada's this whole alien lifeform that combines with humans that have punk metal names and plan on taking over the Earth. While bits and pieces on the symbiotes purpose are divulged somewhat throughout the film, moviegoers still were left asking a significant amount of questions about Venom's species.
The only thing the film tells us is that Riot, Venom and a few other colorful goo extraterrestrials were found on a comet the LIFE foundation sent to retrieve samples. And then we learn that their plan is to steal a rocket and get the rest of their kind to keep the party going.
But this raises a lot of questions. Do the symbiotes just wait around in comets until they hit a planet? What if that planet doesn't have any life on it or the comet destroys all life? Clearly, fans need some answers.
Even if it is just a few lines of dialogue in the next film that just somewhat explain how this seemingly highly advanced alien life form operates would be very much appreciated. It is not like there isn't a lot of source material to pull from in this department either.
