11. Don't Get Up
Who among us isn't a sucker for a single-location genre film, especially if said location is a bit more specific and confined than, say, a person's house?
Even so, the new thriller Don’t Get Up! sounds absolutely bonkers, starring Simon Rex as Barry, a regular guy who finds out that the hotel toilet he's sat on has been rigged with explosives, with a mysterious caller notifying him that it will blow if doesn't pay $220,000 before the countdown reaches zero.
The story is also set during a storm in Oklahoma, the flood leaving Barry cut off from the outside world and therefore unable to summon help, all while he comes to realise this twisted hostage situation is connected to a devastating secret from his past.
Say no more - we're in. And while this actually isn't the first film set primarily in a toilet, it just might be the most outrageous-sounding of them all.
