20 Upcoming Movies You Won't Believe Are Real

10. Martin Scorsese's Hawaii Mob Movie

Martin Scorsese tends to have his name attached to more projects than most people have had hot dinners, and it wasn't easy to fully believe that his announced Hawaii-set mob movie would actually get made.

All the more so considering the film was set to star the ever-in-demand likes of Dwayne Johnson, Leonardo DiCaprio and Emily Blunt, with Johnson starring as a Hawaiian mob boss who operated in the 1960s and 1970s.

Odd as it is to picture Johnson of all folk starring in a Scorsese movie, recent reports indicate that development is moving along, and though the filmmaker is deep into post-production on his new psychological horror film What Happens at Night, he's set to dive into this crime drama next.

The script is currently being revised, after which it's expected to be fast-tracked into production, meaning Scorsese could very well begin rolling cameras on it before year's end if we're lucky.
