Which three actors are paying tribute to Heath Ledger for DR. PARNASSUS?

Terry Gilliam has found his three actors who will be paying tribute to Heath Ledger who we tragically lost last month, in his final film THE IMAGNARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS. If you recall, the fantasy setup of the movie has allowed Gilliam to re-write the script so that Ledger's character could be transformed by going through a magic mirror which will change him into a similar character, with a different appearance. That would happen a total of three times in the movie, presumably it will work similar to what happens in DR. WHO, when they change actor. As expected, Johnny Depp has jumped aboard. He has found time to do the part just before he goes off to work with Michael Mann and opposite Christian Bale as John Dillinger and he will be working for Gilliam for the first time since FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS.

Jude Law is the second name. He has just completed his part in the sci-fi movie REPOSSESSION MAMBO and has a clean upcoming slate.

And lastly, Colin Farrell has joined the movie too. He has just done his part opposite Edward Norton in the crime/drama PRIDE AND GLORY. Kudos to all three actors, who I'm pretty sure will be doing this out of respect for their fallen friend than any cash incentives. Interestingly, none of them ever worked with Ledger, but they all carry that same independent style of mentality about their work. Especially in the last 12 months with Farrell doing a movie for Woody Allen and Jude Law's two movies being SLEUTH and MY BLUEBERRY NIGHTS. It's a classy move from all involved and they have done just about the best they could with what was a horrible tragedy. Let's all hope Gilliam delivers a truly worthy piece of cinema, because whatever happens the movie will be forever memorable. Let's hope it's also memorable because it's good. source - aicn
