The Wolverine: 15 Stupid Things To Avoid Doing In Real Life

7. Don't Look For Any Reason To Start Killing Again

Bear The current backlash that American huntress, Melissa Backman, is receiving from the Internet for posing next to a freshly hunted Lion and showing the world how much of an inadequate loser she is, we can see that hunting animals for sport is generally frowned upon. At the beginning of the film, we find Logan living in the Canadian wilderness. He€™s a broken, unhappy man and has vowed to give up killing. He's also made friends with a CGI bear while living in the woods. The bear provided the film with a perfect analogy for where Logan is in his life. However, the man just had his heart broken when he found it one night, wounded and in pain. He noticed that an illegal arrow had been used to injure the bear. Unable to listen to the cries of pain anymore, Logan was forced to put the bear out of his misery€ with his own claws. That was it: forget about €˜€™no more killing" - the hunter€™s overstepped the mark and he was going to go sort them out. Logan tracks them to a bar where the main hunter is telling the others the €˜€™brave€™€™ story of how he killed the ferocious bear. Not realising that the bear was a visual representation for Logan, he brags and lies about how he took the bear down. Logan can't listen anymore - if he was in two minds about it before, it's crystal clear now. These hunters had to die. So 5 minutes into the movie, Logan has forgotten all about the reason why he was living like a hermit in the Canadian forest. He€™s given €˜€™no more killing€™€™ the finger and is happily willing to kill again. No room for principals when dealing with the backward mentality of people who enjoy hunting.
