The Villain: A formidable witch and the daughter of Titans Hyperion and Perseis, Circe devoted herself to magic. For all her loyalty, she became imbued with the soul of the goddess Hecate. She feared, however, that Diana was destined to separate her from that power and claim it for her own.
Ever since, this evil sorceress has used her influence to mount all sorts of attacks on Diana, from ingraining her other villains with new capabilities to catalyzing entire wars against the Amazons.
Why She Should Be In The Film: Circe is an extremely effective counterpart to Wonder Woman. Where Diana uses force, Circe uses magic, where Diana tries to build ties to the world through hope, Circe seeks to destroy them through violence. This dichotomy, if handled properly, could offer a greater character arc for both hero and villain.
Its a safe bet that throughout her adventures, Diana will have plenty of chances to punch something, so the variance of powers that Circle wields would make things more interesting, especially her ability to turn people into animals.
Rumours concerning the film have already mentioned Circe and if they pan out, we would be in luck, since she's one of Dianas most dominant and menacing enemies.
