Wonder Woman Vs The Dark Knight: Which Is Better?

6. Music

Music is an enormously important part of any superhero movie: get it right and audiences will be humming the tune for years to come, but without an iconic leitmotif, it can feel like a hero is lacking that certain something.

The Dark Knight follows Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard's previous collaboration on Batman Begins, and though it does recycle a lot of the original music from that movie, it also includes brilliant new compositions for both The Joker and the Caped Crusader.

Rupert Gregson-Williams' soundtrack for Wonder Woman isn't as memorable overall, but it makes fantastic use of the iconic Wonder Woman theme previously concocted by Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL for Batman v Superman.

Winner: Wonder Woman loses a few points for the horrible incidental music used during some of the comedy beats, and though that main theme is damn awesome, The Dark Knight's music feels more ambitious, creative and emotional overall.
