6. Incentives For Players

Some might suggest that you don't really need to offer an incentive to World of Warcraft fans to check out a film adaptation of what is most likely their favourite game in the history of the world. However, it can never hurt, and would be a great way for those who have tirelessly supported the product over the years (likely pouring hundreds of pounds into it) to get something back, to have their loyalty rewarded. How about a scheme whereby if you send your WoW cinema ticket to Blizzard, and assuming you have an actively subscribed account, you get 30 free days credited to your account? Or you get an in-game item? The same could happen for the DVD, too; it wouldn't in effect cost Blizzard anything but would allow them at the same time to positively reinforce their brand image, moving from the already meteoric success they've had in games to the movie market as well.
