Olivia Munn's Psylocke didn't really have all that much to do in X-Men: Apocalypse, so it makes sense to consider her for a leading role in X-Force to make up for it.

The character's something of a favourite among the X-Men faithful, with the former Captain Britain co-lead having had a consistent presence on the team since she first collided with them in 1986. For the past decade or so she has, however, held a certain kind of synonymy with X-Force, having co-led the offshoot with Wolverine for the majority of its existence.

Apocalypse teased but a fraction of the character's powers, but X-Force - granted the freedom of that hard 'R' - should do much better. Indeed, Munn herself would be afforded a greater level of space to manoeuvre this time too, especially since the character - at least in the Rick Remender series - tended to be the guiding force of the team.
