X-Men: 10 Actors Who Could Play The MCU's Cyclops

Marvel has had some solid success with unconventional casting in the MCU. There have been some very out there picks which ended up surprising many, like Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Pratt as Peter Quill and Paul Rudd as Scott Lang. So, why not go for another risky casting that could pay off massively?

Joseph Quinn is an actor who went from having moderate profile to being one of the hottest young prospects in the industry. His career-making turn as Eddie Munson in Stranger Things has proven him to be a unique, spirited and very bankable performer, and should that trajectory continue, he could become a massive star.

Acting-wise, he's incredibly versatile, playing complex characters in projects like Les Misérables (2019), Overlord and Dickensian - that's right, he's not just in Stranger Things. In each of these titles, he managed to bring nuance and likeability, even when the darkest of things were occurring.

Regarding Scott Summers, he could bring an unexpected edge to the character, making him less of a traditional hero and more of an everyman fighting to keep the X-Men in tow. His vulnerability, confidence and high energy would make this a real treat.
