5. He Has Some Seriously Nasty Henchmen
MarvelAlthough Apocalypse has transformed many individuals over the years to serve his purposes, those four he names the Horsemen are the most terrifying. Usually powerful superhumans already, the Four Horsemen (War, Famine, Pestilence and Death) are then changed and mutated yet further through genetic manipulation, biological grafts and application of the alien Celestial technology at his disposal, becoming monstrous and post-human in the process. The Horsemen are also brainwashed by the transformation, becoming utterly devoted and fanatical. The Four Horsemen act as his shock troops, unleashed upon the world to do his bidding, and were glimpsed in the background of X-Men: Days Of Future Pasts post-credits sequence.
