4. Those Henchmen Have Occasionally Had Familiar Faces

Marvel ComicsBut that's not all either Apocalypse has been known to transform X-Men into his Horsemen. The first to have his body and persona twisted by the millennia-old mutant was Angel, the winged X-Man (You might remember a version of Warren Worthington III cropping up in the franchise's lamest duck, X-Men: The Last Stand). Angel had been badly wounded in battle with Sinisters Marauders, and had been left with no choice but to have his wings amputated or risk gangrene spreading into his system. Unwilling to face life without the ability to soar amongst the clouds, Angel attempted suicide, but was rescued by Apocalypse at the last minute, who used his horrifying science to mutate and warp Worthington's crippled body, giving him giant razor-sharp metal wings, blue skin and a new name Death. Although Worthington later broke free of Apocalypses conditioning to rename himself Archangel, the experience scarred him for years, his razor wings seeming to have an evil life of their own. Angel wasnt the only Death under Apocalypses control. Both Wolverine and the master thief Gambit became new versions of the Horsemens leader at one time or another and that didnt just extend to mutants. The Incredible Hulk himself was co-opted into becoming War. Now obviously, with the various rights to Marvel characters split between Sony, Disney and Fox, were not going to see the Hulk appearing in an X-Men movie anytime soon. Damn it. But any of the X-Men or the attached supporting cast of characters could become a more monstrous, twisted evil version of themselves in this film. The dramatic possibilities are endless although were kind of hoping to see the iconic Angel Of Death transformation, ourselves.
