X-Men: Apocalypse - 11 Things To Expect Now We've Seen Days Of Future Past

10. Cable/Nate Grey

Now that time travel is firmly a thing in the X-Men universe, there's every possibility that Singer will use it again as the gateway to introduce Cable - or Nate Grey as he is alternately known in the Age Of Apocalypse universe - as the alternate dimension son of Scott Summers and Jean Grey, who could be brought through the dimensions by Mister Sinister (or another of Apocalypse's Four Horsemen) as a challenge to Apocalypse himself. Admittedly, it's probably more likely that Singer will adapt the story slightly differently in order to avoid accusations of double-dipping the time travel pot, but that doesn't mean that Cable will not appear. In the same way that Bishop was basically shoe-horned in to Days Of Future Past in reference to his importance in the cartoon adaptation of that story arc, we could see Cable introduced as a character simply as fan-service, and to pay homage to the Age Of Apocalypse run and his importance to Apocalypse as a character overall.
