X-Men: Apocalypse - 11 Things To Expect Now We've Seen Days Of Future Past

5. More Quicksilver

Regardless of what Bryan Singer had planned for Quicksilver in future X-Men movies, one thing that is abundantly clear is that the super-speedy mutant will be brought back to Apocalypse in some way on a wave of popularity thanks to his movie-stealing appearance in Days Of Future Past. Quicksilver's rescue of Magneto, and his subsequent saving of the villain, Beast and Professor X in the same sequence was by far the best part of Days Of Future Past and is likely to be the scene that transcends even how popular the film is already becoming to top movie-goers' lists of the best scenes of the year. And with that in mind - and given how unnecessarily abrupt his subsequent drop out of the movie was - there is no way Fox or Singer will be able to resist bringing him back. And if they don't, they'll likely face a fan backlash that would have seemed preposterous when the first images of the character appeared and everyone was so vocally underwhelmed.
