X-Men: Days Of Future Past - 10 Questions The Movie Must Answer

7. How Did Beast Become Furry?

Days Of Future Past 3 And, for that matter, where is he from? The furball's first onscreen appearance was in X2, when a decidedly non-furry Hank McCoy can be briefly glimpsed on TV during the seedy bar scene. During his next (official) appearance in X3, he's pelted and apparently has been for some time. Also, he's got an English accent. Yet, in First Class, it's established that he first became beastly way back in the 60s, and that it was his own fault. Also, he's an American working with the CIA. Which makes me wonder, since the part about his being blue is his own doing, is it merely temporary condition? Does it go into remission, only to relapse? Also, not that it matters, but for continuity's sake, is he English or American? It appears we may get an answer to the more important of those questions, as Singer has revealed stills of McCoy both with and without fur.
