X-Men Days Of Future Past: 20 Big Questions That Still Need Answers

17. Will Master Mold Appear?

In the comics Master Mold is a Sentinel-creating machine that also looks like and controls the Sentinels, and there have actually been several Master Molds throughout comics history. When the Sentinels set out to dominate the world in order to destroy mutants Trask sacrificed himself to destroy Master Mold so the Sentinels couldn't take over. Later on, the remains of Master Mold combine with an advanced sentinel from the future named Nimrod and became an almost human version of Master Mold called Bastion. Yet another Master Mold appeared who claimed he was Stephen Lang, a manufacturer of Sentinels in later years. If this was a Marvel Cinematic Universe film a character like Master Mold could fit in. However this is a Bryan Singer X-Men film, and Singer's X-Men films have always been more stripped down and grounded. It would be odd to see Master Mold in a film stylistically similar to Singer's first two films, but even so, it's possible a Master Mold-esque machine could appear in the film. Either that or there'll be some kind of Easter egg pertaining to the character.

16.Who Killed JFK?

Yes, this is still an article about X-Men. The assassination of JFK does play an important role in the film, as a viral video released back in November said Magneto had been arrested for the assassination of the President. It was a fascinating €“ through arguably tasteless €“ way to promote the film as well as giving it a connection to American history, essentially grounding an alternate reality which ties into the presence of mutants. It also plays into society's obsession with the events of November 22, 1963 and the many conspiracy theories that have arisen throughout the decades. So who did kill Kennedy? Some have speculated Mystique was behind the assassination. Promo pictures show young Xavier and Wolverine breaking Magneto out of prison, likely as a way to discover what Magneto knows about the assassination.
