7. Henry Peter Gyrich
Though many are already convinced that Dinklage will be playing Bolivar Trask, it's important not to forget Henry Peter Gyrich, Trask's colleague who also helps to spearhead the Sentinel effort against the mutants. Bryan Singer is known for generally avoiding the more complex and difficult comic book characters (specifically the two above), and given that many of them don't even have a strong link to the Days of Future Past arc anyway, it seems logical to cast Dinklage as someone already firmly rooted in this narrative. Dinklage might not seem like the most conventional choice for Gyrich, but this is one instance where Singer can probably get away with a different look, given that he's not a character fanboys will be rabidly expecting to appear in a big way. Also, if Dinklage appears in his real-life stature, it will add a layer of social commentary to the film - despite being in a frequently ridiculed subset himself, he is doing the same to another. The character may have briefly appeared in Singer's first X-Men film - and was decisively
not played by Peter Dinklage - but this series seems capable of playing fast and loose with casting without really losing its momentum.
