X-Men Sequels: 10 New Mutants Who Need To Be Included

2. Spiral

Spiral Given the trajectory of Rita Wayword€™s life, the spiral in question is most certainly of the downward variety. After following her lover, Longshot, to the Mojoverse, the pair were captured and Rita forced into slavery by the eponymous Mojo, an example of the most dire evil this or any universe faces€”a purveyor of reality TV. Not content with Rita€™s servitude, Mojo had his chief scientist cause her to undergo a program of cybernetic change, and both physical and psychological mutation, leaving her with four additional arms and the ability to see into other dimensions€”an ability which understandably drove her insane. If that wasn€™t enough, Mojo ensured she possessed the knowledge to mutilate others in a similar fashion, and then sent her back in time to attack her past self€”the very set of events which caused her to meet Longshot and leave Earth in the first place. It€™s the chilling fact that Rita began as an innocent and was twisted into a poly-limbed mutant sorceress, inter-dimensional traveller, swordswoman, evil cybernetic scientist, and general psychopath for hire, that makes her the stuff that nightmares are made of.
