X-Men Apocalypse: 11 Best Moments

9. Xavier Loses His Hair

X-Men Apocalypse Quicksilver
Fox

There was much discussion pre-release regarding how Professor Xavier would lose his hair to realise the character's most iconic style, and it didn't disappoint.

Xavier loses his hair after Apocalypse kidnaps him and attempts to transport his own consciousness into Xavier's body, which would in turn steal his telepathic powers, the one set that Apocalypse is missing and desperately craves for world domination.

During the ritual, as the transformation is carried out, Xavier's hair disappears, resulting in the rather distinguished, bald and eventually suited-up Xavier that Patrick Stewart made so iconic in the earlier movies.

While Apocalypse's plan to enter Xavier's body isn't terribly imaginative, this was a largely unexpected and entertaining way to shed the man's mop, and ultimately didn't seem too shoehorned in.
