X-Men Apocalypse: 11 Best Moments

In the movie's final battle, Quicksilver gets a second unexpected moment (we'll get to the first in a bit) to shine when he races up to Apocalypse and smacks him around at super-speed several times.

Sure, it makes the supervillain look like something of a joke temporarily, but it allows Quicksilver to have more than his single gimmicky showcase scene, and seeing Apocalypse flying around Cairo is undeniably amusing.

It all comes to an end, however, when Apocalypse, whose eyes are at this point knocking around in his head like pinballs, gets his bearings and uses his powers to trap Quicksilver's leg in the ground.

After so many of us complained about Quickie mysteriously vanishing from Days of Future Past after breaking Magneto out of the Pentagon, this felt like a small apology for that.
