X-Men Apocalypse: 11 Best Moments

6. Xavier Restores Moira's Memories

X-Men Apocalypse Quicksilver
Fox

Though she doesn't have a huge role in the movie, the film does explore Moira's relationship (or rather, non-relationship) with Professor Xavier.

Since Xavier wiped her memories of Cuba back in First Class, she has married and had a child, and also divorced due to the time demands of the job.

This naturally piques Xavier's interest again, and at the end of the movie, he also decides to restore Moira's memories of Cuba, apologising for taking them away in the first place. It's then implied that the two are an item as the movie comes to an end.

Sure, there's a reading of this relationship that makes it seem kinda creepy from Charles' perspective, but considering the sure chemistry these two characters have, it's nice to see them get together rather than languish around in a "will they? won't they?" non-thing forever more.

Plus, if Moira is going to be around for future movies, best to clue her up on everything.
