2. Steppenwolf
Wait, you know Steppenwolf, right? Well, not only was the version of that villain seen in the theatrical cut of Justice League completely redesigned by Whedon, but his lines were all rewritten as well. That means fans have absolutely no idea what Snyder had planned for the character, though it's likely Ciaran Hinds will still provide his voice.
However, as a deleted scene from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice made clear, Snyder had a very different take on Steppenwolf in mind in terms of appearance, and while a "Snyder Cut" image has shown a relatively similar looking version, the VFX look unfinished, and the filmmaker now has the opportunity to put the finishing touches to him.
Still, while the Steppenwolf in the "Snyder Cut" is likely to be an entirely new character in many respects, the director has confirmed how he meets his maker. Wonder Woman beheads him, and sends that back through a Boom Tube to the real big bad pulling the strings on Apokolips...
