4. Ride To Hell: Retribution
That's right, it is time to discuss Ride to Hell: Retribution, a game so universally panned you could cook pasta in it. Anyone unlucky enough to have spent money on this disaster is probably still kicking themselves over it these ten years later.
Ride to Hell spent years in development hell after being announced in 2008. It then hit the scene in 2013 with all the pomp and circumstance of a trip to rehab.
The graphics were terrible with a capital T, and it was so full of broken mechanics you couldn't help but laugh at it. However, the tedious gameplay was far less amusing, as it was so boring it felt like a chore. Poor writing, terrible tech, unresponsive controls; you name it, and this game had it.
It would also be remiss not to mention all those horrendous sex scenes. The game's bizarre reliance on awkward sex appeal screamed of a desperate desire to attract pubescent boys. It's not one you wanted your mum walking in on, yikes!
Here's a list of games that released the same year that could've spent your money on: The Last of Us, GTA V, Tomb Raider, AC: Black Flag, Bioshock Infinite. Yeah, enough said.
