10 Most Anticlimactic Boss Fights

4. The Vizier - Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was a hugely successful reboot of the iconic video game series thanks to its insanely fun platforming and revolutionary time-reversing mechanics. Combat wasn't one of its strong points, but it was still good fun and set a precedent for cinematic gameplay. The combat was at its best when squaring off against a large group of enemies, becoming a balancing act of switching between enemies and keeping them at bay in order to avoid getting overwhelmed. Therefore, it could be rightfully assumed that in a game like this new Prince of Persia, the final boss might take the form of multiple enemies, or at least a bit of platforming. Instead, the evil Vizier spends the final fight creating illusions of himself that can be easily beaten, while hiding behind a curtain. The illusions don't even attack all at once, and can be fought individually. Following the easy dispatch of these visions, the Vizier himself puts up almost no resistance before his defeat. An easy, generic end to an otherwise incredible game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blFVK1u0vnA
