Originally planned as DLC for Saints Row The Third, the idea behind Enter The Dominatrix' was instead expanded and given its own game, which turned out to be Saints Row IV. Although an enjoyable game in its own right, Saints Row IV still felt like an extended DLC to the previous game. Which makes it even more surprising that Volition and Deep Silver decided to release this, a what-would-have-been piece of content. It's the original story from the planned Saints Row The Third DLC, with unfinished storyboards and humorous fourth wall breaking commentaries by The Boss, Shaundi and co. The changes to the story are interesting - with Zinyak, the main antagonist from the full game making a brief and hysterical appearance. Some popular characters from the third game even make an appearance, such as Zimos (still using that voice tuner) and the hilariously awful Nyte Blayde. Enter the Dominatrix is still fun and full of the old Saints Row charm and humour, but unfortunately, compared to the DLC of the previous Saints Row titles, it's actually a bit disappointing. Unsurprisingly, it's just a rehash of the main game, retelling a slightly altered version of the main story but in a condensed way and adding nothing new to the experience. That is until the climax, which makes this piece of DLC a must have for Saints Row fans. A highlight of the whole fourth game, if you will. For those yet to play it - Do the Dinosaur. That's all I'm saying.
