10 Best Gaming Soundtracks Of 2012

Even though I never had time to play this title, I was told that the soundtrack to Darksiders 2 was another Jesper Kyd masterpiece. As many know, Jesper Kyd is possibly the king of gaming scores, producing the works of the Assassin's Creed Ezio Trilogy and and this year's Borderlands 2.

For a dark game, the soundtrack takes a light tone - similar to the music of Lord of the Rings when there is no war, or any problems at all. It relaxes the listener, but yet the promise of intensity always lingers, and always comes. The medieval background flows well with the natural gaming environment, and so fits in perfectly. It is one of the soundtracks that many have called 'beautiful' this year, and if you listen to it; its no wonder why.

All in all, I guess it's just another masterpiece from Kyd. Nice one, Jesper.
