Despite the presence of Ultima Weapon and many other fantastic Keyblades in Kingdom Hearts II; there is no better Keyblade.
Decisive Pumpkin has it all.
A fantastic design? Check. The Tim Burton-inspired look mixes all of the best elements from the world of The Nightmare Before Christmas. The Christmas theme mixing with the Halloween theme is a great touch, and makes this Keyblade a joy to look at. The presence of Zero as the Keychain is also a great detail that fans will adore.
Although the design is one of the best in the series, the stats and ease of access of the Keyblade are truly what make it stand out. Whereas Ultima Weapon requires you to synthesise and collect lots of materials (which in itself involves defeating thousands of Heartless and Nobodies), all you have to do to unlock Decisive Pumpkin is complete the second visit to the Nightmare Before Christmas world. There are no extra requirements attached, and this means every player has the chance to use it.
Despite not having a good magic stat, Decisive Pumpkin somehow manages to beat the ground strength of Ultima Weapon. It allows for finishing strikes to become more powerful depending on the number of hits in the combo prior to finishing, making moves like Explosion do catastrophic damage.
Decisive Pumpkin somehow manages to be the most powerful and the best designed Keyblades in the series, as well as being very easy to obtain. It is the best Keyblade to appear in Kingdom Hearts to date.
