10 Best Moments In Final Fantasy History

5. Epic Soundtracks - All Of Them

C'mon now, what's your all-time favourite track across the Final Fantasy series? Is it flying the airship in FFIV? The Opera House in VI? Or "You're Not Alone" when Zidane has his tantrum towards the end of IX?

It's hard to pick a favourite, not only because the music is always so excellently written, but it is composed to elicit emotions to support the storytelling. When we hear Aeris' theme, we are meant to feel that tragic calmness - it's everything that embodied her character, representing a hope and friendship that gets snatched away.

The heavy metal "Otherworld" as Tidus battles corrupted father Jecht represents all the emotions that have been building inside Tidus throughout his childhood and quest as they come erupting out in a final showdown.

I can't wait to fully explore Final Fantasy XV and hear the new music on offer and experience the epic moments it will support, but even more exciting is that you can buy soundtracks of previous series entries in the many outposts across the map, and relive your favourite Final Fantasy tunes in the Regalia whilst taking in the sights of Eos.
