8. The Walking Dead: The Final Season

The final season of The Walking Dead will always be marred by extenuating circumstances surrounding Telltale Games' closure, but that shouldn't detract from what the Still Not Bitten team achieved.

With a slightly shorter four episode rollout, Telltale aimed to finish the story of The Walking Dead. Not an easy feat considering how bland and forgettable the third season was.

However, Season 4 feels like a return to form for the developer, and a rather fitting end to the story of Clementine.

We play as a sixteen year old Clem who's been living in a zombie-infested world for half of her life. She's a badass character who retains a heart of gold thanks to her former mentor, Lee. Now raising a child by the name of AJ, who is a handful to say the least, the duo meet a group of young adults at an abandoned school for trouble youths. In true Walking Dead fashion though, it isn't long until the teens are at war with a foe from Clementine's past.

The Final Season is a great culmination to the story started in 2012. It's gripping and sad, while offering moments of brevity that endear you to the characters. It's a fitting end to the series, and to Telltale as a studio.
