3. “Sit in Judgement” (Dragon Age: Inquisition)
It's time to bring the hammer down, but this time, rather than being on some poor sap's head, it's on the throne of justice.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is a complex, vast RPG with many fun mechanics. One of the most entertaining has to be the "Sit in Judgement" quest, which sees you take to a high seat in Skyhold and decide what to do with the enemies you've made along the way. The recurring mission consists of you being brought a prisoner, usually one you've dealt with directly, judging their actions and deciding what happens to them.
There are plenty of choices to be made, with execution, exile, imprisonment, and even conscription to your cause being some of the most common. However, each case comes with unique options, taking away the thrill of combat but gifting you a sense of power.
Seeing main story characters like Florianne de Chalons or Samson, as well as side quest names such as Gregory Dedrick or Thom Rainier, come before you for judgment is a satisfying end to their stories. The only question is, are you merciful or cruel?
