10 Best WWE Video Game Storylines (They Need To Do In Real Life)

7. Destroying WrestleMania (WrestleMania XIX)

Has there ever been a WWE game stranger than WrestleMania XIX on the Nintendo Gamecube? The title did feature the usual in-ring warfare typically associated with wrestling videogames (unless you're a developer of WCW Backstage Assault, apparently), but 'Mania XIX decided to take some story elements in an altogether different direction. Not content with merely designing a story which has the user-controller character attempting to destroy WrestleMania in order to get back at Vince McMahon, the game also features several segments which revolve around gamers kicking the snot out of policemen, dock workers and other associated innocents. It's all pretty bizarre, and whilst such goings on wouldn't really be believable, it's surprising that WWE haven't booked a heel to try and ruin WrestleMania. Think about it, it's the ultimate heel move - generally speaking, the big baddies from movies and comics don't care if they're affected, they just want to cause carnage, such as The Joker from Batman. This could be an interesting plot point, one that could get someone seriously over, but it'd have to be booked delicately.
