10 Big Unannounced Video Games You'll Be Playing In 2018
6. Bloodborne 2
Likelihood: 7/10
Although From Software only released Dark Souls 3 in 2016, they've been uncharacteristically quiet ever since. Usually announcing and releasing projects at a rapid rate, the studio dropped Dark Souls 2, 3 and Bloodborne within the space of three years, but so far haven't officially revealed anything for fans to look forward to in the future.
However it has been confirmed that there are new games in development at the studio. Unfortunately, so far it seems as though these aren't Souls-related titles, but that doesn't mean that Bloodborne 2 isn't already in the works.
The original exceeded Sony's expectations pretty much straight away, and considering the adoration that players have for the developers themselves, it's a no-brainer that they'd quickly get them working on a follow up.
Whether that turns out to be a straight sequel to Bloodborne itself or a spiritual successor, there's no chance that Sony wouldn't capitalise on the original's success, and three years between titles is more than enough time to expect to see a sequel slip into the already-stacked 2018 release window.
