10 Big Unannounced Video Games You'll Be Playing In 2018

7. WB's Untitled Batman Game

Batman: Arkham Insurgency
Warner Bros. Montreal

Likelihood: 7/10

Working on projects since they shipped Batman: Arkham Origins in 2013, WB Montreal have had multiple setbacks that have made the wait between games longer than expected. Initially developing a Suicide Squad tie-in using the Arkham engine, that brawler was scrapped a few years into production, with the studio instead being put onto crafting a straight follow up to Arkham Knight, rumoured to be about Damien Wayne's time as the Caped Crusader.

With it being three years since the finale to Rocksteady's Batman series hit shelves, by the time 2018 rolls around a new entry in the franchise would be long overdue. WB Games aren't the type to let their big titles idly sit by, and with no Shadow of Mordor, Mortal Kombat or Injustice to fall back on, they need one big name to be ready for next year.

Although Rocksteady are very clearly working on something for WB at the moment, the fact that they're only just recently ramping up into full production suggests that it's a little ways off yet, and Montreal's title could be the perfect release to plug the superhero gap between Arkham Knight and their next game.
