10 Biggest Video Game Villains With The Smallest Screentime

8. Vaas Montenegro - Far Cry 3

Resident Evil 5
Ubisoft

Though he isn't the ultimate, overarching villain of Far Cry 3, Vaas Montenegro is the one everyone remembers.

Thanks to Michael Mando's electrifyingly intense performance and the character's memorable dialogue, it's little surprise that Ubisoft made him the literal poster child for the game.

However, despite sucking all the oxygen out of the room and leaving little behind for his boss Hoyt Volker, Vaas is barely in the game at all.

Players can comfortably beat Far Cry 3 in around 15 hours, yet Vaas only shows up for around 20 minutes.

Granted, every single one of his cutscenes is an unforgettable banger, but considering the marketing presence he had leading up to the game's release, it's shocking how little he's present, before being killed off at the end of the second act.

Hell, Vaas has about as much screen time in the Far Cry Experience viral web-series released as a story prequel shortly before the game's launch.

But given that Vaas is still often ranked among the most brilliant and iconic video game villains ever, he clearly made one hell of a deep impression with such scant time in front of our eyes.
