10 Biggest Video Game Villains With The Smallest Screentime

3. Alduin the World-Eater - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Resident Evil 5
Bethesda

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's Alduin the World-Eater - a dragon prophesised to destroy the world - certainly makes one hell of a memorable appearance at the very start of the game, immediately cementing him as a terrifying force to be reckoned with.

Yet Alduin actually only appears a few times to the player throughout the main questline, with screen time totalling around 30 minutes including the final boss battle against him.

Even players who rush to the end of the core story will likely spend 15-20 hours doing so, but this being Skyrim and all, you're almost certainly going to spend dozens more, even hundreds more hours losing yourself in Bethesda's lovingly crafted world.

And so, that half-hour or so that we actually encounter Alduin feels like a very small drop in a massive bucket.

But in the very least, Alduin makes a powerful impact those few times he does rock up to raise hell.
