10 BRAND NEW Video Game Trailers You Need To See
4. The Callisto Protocol
If you happen to be a fan of the Dead Space series, it’s possible that you feel bad about what happened in the final chapter of Isaac Clarke's story and the games developer.
Thanks to EA, the third Dead Space game was filled with microtransactions, and even resulted in Visceral Games being shut down after they failed to make a game with a similar monetisation scheme to their other games.
But fear not, for if you are itching to get some more of that Sci-fi horror shooter goodness, then The Callisto Protocol is a game to keep your eye out for. The trailer is short, but is enough to set the tone of what the game will be like, with malfunctioning machines, alien creatures and a spooky facility on one of Jupiter’s moons, Callisto.
But what is especially exciting about this game is that it is being developed by Glen Schofield, the creator of the Dead Space series with his new studio Striking Distance. At the end of the trailer, Glen promised players that it would be a third person sci-fi horror survival game that they hope will be the scariest game possible.
