10 Cancelled Video Games That Would Have Made Millions
8. Dirty Harry
Platform: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 "Dirty Harry: The Video Game." Enough said, really, as this game would have have made millions for obvious reasons. Still, for the purposes of this article, it's probably a good idea to offer up a little more information about this cancelled title. So Dirty Harry was supposed to be released way back in 2007, and was rumoured to be set between the original movie and sequel Magnum Force, as a means of giving Clint Eastwood's iconic cop character a little added "depth." Sadly for developer The Collective, Inc., they didn't get lucky (punk) and - after years in development - the project was eventually shelved. This came as something of a surprise to those folk who were anticipating the game, especially since it had been given Eastwood's blessing, and would have featured his voice, likeness and creative input. In the end, though, The Collective Inc. cited "trouble" as their reason for abandoning ship, and we've heard nothing since.
