10 Cancelled Video Games That Would Have Made Millions
9. Six Days In Fallujah
Platform: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 Six Days In Fallujah sounds awesome on its title alone; a lot can happen in six days, especially within the realms of a third-person shooter, and this cancelled game from Atomic Games promised those six days to be particularly eventful, what with them taking place in Iraq. So this title attracted lots of media attention back in 2009, given the contemporary nature of the featured war (it was to be set during '04 and would have been the first game to ever feature the Iraq war). The game's big marketing point seemed to hone in on the fact that it would be hyper-realistic. It also was - at one time - even talked up as being the most realistic war game ever made. What it would have entailed, exactly, remains hazy, though Atomic Games conducted interviews with over 70 people involved in the real Second Battle of Fallujah in order to develop the title. Which would have made it endlessly interesting, had it not been ultimately suspended by Konami.
